Come meet some of your school board members this Thursday, April 24th, at the Hot Springs County Library, 5-6 p.m. The event is sponsored by the Hot Springs County chapter of Moms for Liberty. They have invited all seven members of the Hot Springs County School Board to join them for informal one-on-one discussion with the public.
This is a repeat of a successful Meet and Greet the Chapter held in February. School Board Chairman Justin Budd and others were pleased with the results.
Charles Curley, Moms for Liberty chapter Chair, cautioned that this is not a formal event of the school board. “The school board members are there in their personal capacities,” he said. Not all members of the school board will attend. Some have prior commitments.
There will be no formal program. Curley will start the meeting with some brief remarks, then ask the school board members to introduce themselves. The rest of the hour will be for informal conversation.
Moms for Liberty has been active in Hot Springs County for over a year. It is a non-profit organization under section 501 (C) (4) of the Internal Revenue Code.
