On March 11, the Hot Springs County Commissioners held a special meeting and executive session regarding litigation.
After reconvening from executive session, Chairman Tom Ryan said that no action was taken during the executive session.
The commissioners then voted and passed the approval to engage with an outside law firm named Lonabaugh and Riggs LLP from Sheridan to represent the commissioners for the suit filed by Martin G. Oravec and Gary A. Frazier for a Petition for Review of Agency Action.
Chairman Ryan also said that in the coming March 18 meeting they plan to rescind the land use change motion made by Commissioners Paul Galovich and Bob Aguiar at the February 4 meeting and this outside law firm will assist with that action. More information will be provided at that time.
