Cynthia Marie Garbin

1953-2025

Cynthia Marie Garbin was born September 29, 1953, and departed February 22, 2025.

She was a nurse for over 30 years, she had a calling to help others.

Cynthia retired in Nov, 2002. She and her husband Paul moved to Thermopolis in April, 2005. She became active in different aspects of the community. She was a strong supporter of the First and Second Amendments (free speech, freedom of religion and the right to self defense). She believed in Liberty. She was active in the Hot Springs County Historical Museum, HSC Republican Party, Home Health Thermopolis, Friends of the Library, Rooted in Faith Women's Conference, holiday choir, parades, quilting circles, and others.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Pam Maslanka; and sisters, Nancy Quinter and Joann Stevens.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Garbin; and their son, Moses Garbin.

Paul and Cynthia were married 52 plus years and he stated, "She was a blessing to me all these years, I don't know how to live without her."

A get together to remember Cynthia's life will be held in the near future.

Mortimore Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
