Two Bobcats make Shrine Bowl selections

Player selections were announced last week for the 52nd Annual Wyoming Shrine Bowl game, which will be played at Cheney Alumni Field, at Natrona High School in Casper, on June 14, 2025. Individual selections of graduated seniors are made by nominating coaches, from high school programs around the State of Wyoming.

Senior Bobcat, Dell Dukes, was selected to play for the North team. Dell will be attending Chadron State College this fall, and is a Preferred Walk-On for the Eagles football team. Teammate and Senior, Zane Stam, was selected as an Alternate for the North Team. Earlier this month, Zane was crowned Champion at the 2025 Wyoming Powerlifting Competition.

The North Team will be directed by Head Coach, Nicc Crosby, of Lovell High School. Coach Crosby steered the Lovell Bulldogs to the 2A Semi-Finals, at the State Championships this past fall.

The North Team has fared well in the Shrine Bowl, with a record of 27-20-3 in the history of the event. The game was not played in 2020, due to Covid. Last year, the North defeated the South, by a score of 45 to 7.
