Casino Royale
Hot Springs Health Foundation is hosting Casino Royale on Saturday, March 1 at the Hot Springs County Fairgrounds. Happy hour begins at 4:30 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6 p.m. There will be games, raffles, silent and live auctions. Tickets are $50 each or $90 for a couple and can be purchased at Thermopolis-Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce or contact the Hot Springs Health Foundation at 864-8104.
Pancake supper
Holy Trinity Episcopal Church is holding their annual Pancake Supper on Shrove Tuesday, March 4 from 4:30-7 p.m. Donations will be accepted at the door of the church located at 642 Arapahoe St. There will be live entertainment. For more information, contact Eric Kay at 921-1339.
Blood drive
The March Blood Drive will be held at the Hot Springs County Senior Citizens Center on Monday, March 3 from 2-6 p.m. and Tuesday, March 4 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome but appointments are encouraged. Sheep Queen of Wyoming
The March 8 meeting of the Hot Springs County Historical Society will feature a presentation on the early years of a Lady of a Legend, Lucy Morrison Moore, known as the Sheep Queen of Wyoming. The meeting begins at 2 p.m. and the presentation will follow at the Hot Springs Historical Museum. The presenter will be Moore’s great-granddaughter, Terri Lynn Geissinger. Cabin Fever family fun
The Wyoming Discovery Days committee is hosting a Cabin Fever Chili Cook Off and family dance fun on Sunday, March 9 from 1-6 p.m. at the Hot Springs County Fair Building, 627 Springview St. A free baked potato bar lunch will be available. The cost to enter the chili cook off is $15 with samples free to eat. Prizes will be awarded for best chili. Dance Band will play live music and there will be raffles, silent auctions, games, prizes and more. Donations will be accepted at the door. Concert
Bryan Elijah Smith will be performing a concert in Thermopolis on March 14 at the William H. Mallloy School Auditorium. General admission is $25 with VIP tickets selling for $40. VIP is limited to 100 and will receive access to an after concert gathering. Tickets are available at http://www.thermopolischamber.org
