1964-2025
Tonyia Humble-Plewinski passed away unexpectedly February 7, 2025. Tonyia was born in Long Beach, Calif., on January 22,1964, to Shirley Nitcy & Richard Humble. Tonyia spent most of her childhood in Long Beach, Calif.
Tonyia and her mother Shirley moved to Big Timber, Mont., to reside with Shirley's parents, Ira and Ollie Adams when she was a young teen. Tonyia spent most of her time with friends outdoors fishing and rockhounding. Tonyia also had a strong love for animals. As a young adult Tonyia met Casey T. Larson of Thermopolis, Wyo. Tonyia and Casey were married in September of 1982. In 1983 they had their first of four children. Tonyia and Casey later divorced.
Tonyia met Robert (Bob) Plewinski in 2007 in Big Timber, Mont., while tending bar. It was love at first sight! They soon moved to Maryland and Maine where they enjoyed Bob's family for several years. Tonyia wanted nothing more than to be in Thermopolis with her children and grandchildren so Tonyia and Bob moved to Thermopolis in 2013. They were then married in June of 2015. Tonyia loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, and if they could spend time outdoors it was even better! Tonyia loved to take anyone who would go with her rockhounding, fishing, hiking, or riding her Harley. Tonyia found great joy in her children and grandchildren and was so proud of each and every one of them. Tonyia gave the greatest hugs to anyone who needed one, it was truly a soul healing hug.
Tonyia is survived by her mother, Shirley Nitcy; and her children, Kiamichi Larson, Cassie (TJ) Owsley, Kaila (Justin) Jones and William (Trish) Larson of Thermopolis. She was blessed and is survived by 13 grandchildren, Oakley, Kamry, Jason Jr, and Kadance Bowman, Jayssie, Chloee, & Talon Owsley, Morgan & Paige Jones, Kadence, Jaylee, Sophia, & Olivia Larson; and one great grandchild, James Bowman.
Tonyia is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Plewinski; grandparents, Ira and Ollie Adams; father, Richard Humble; and family, David and Dorothy Goosey and Marjorie Nitcy of Big Timber, Mont.
