Business plan workshop

A workshop presented by Devan Costa-Cargill, Regional Director Wyoming SBDC, called Creating a Business Plan will be held on Thursday, February 6 from 5:30-7 p.m. at 7 Lazy S Cafe, 109 S. 6th St. Space is limited and cost is $15 per person. Calling all chocolate lovers

Friends of Hot Springs County Library are hosting a Chocolate Lover’s fundraiser on Saturday, Feb. 8 from 10 a.m.-noon at HSC Library, 344 Arapahoe St. You can purchase a box of chocolate treats for $5 and bid on silent auction items. Biddling will end at 11:30 a.m. All proceeds go to benefit the library.

Historical Society meeting

The program at the February 8 Historical Society meeting will be presented by Cheryl Shero, Gottsche Rehabilitation Executive Director/CEO. The program is called Reflecting on the past, building the future: Gottsche timeline. The meeting starts at 2 p.m. with the program to follow.

Level II water study meeting

A Public Hearing on the Hot Springs County Supply Evaluation, Level II study will be held on February 13, at 3 p.m. in the Hot Springs County Annex Meeting Room, 117 N. 4th Street.  The Wyoming Water Development Commission will hold a public hearing to receive comments on the above listed project. The commission will also be seeking information as to whether the proposed project functions and services can be served by any person, association or corporation engaged in private enterprise.

Representatives of the Water Development Commission, the project engineering team, and the project sponsor may be present to explain the proposed project and to record comments. In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, special assistance or alternate formats will be made available upon request for individuals with disabilities. Valentine dance

The 1890’s Riders are hosting a dance on Saturday, Feb. 15 from 7 p.m.-midnight at the VFW, 302 Broadway. The cost is $10 per person or $15 for a couple. Proceeds will go to the Memorial Avenue of Flags. Come enjoy music, dancing, fun and snacks.
