Unplug

Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 7th & Arapahoe, is hosting Unplug Sunday, January 5 beginning at 5:30 p.m. This month’s performer will be Celtic harpist Heather Logan. The evening will include prayer, poetry, music and a simple supper will follow.

Open House

Risen Son Christian School and Eagle Nest Daycare will be holding an Open House on Thursday, January 9 at 5 p.m. They will be taking full time enrollments for the school and daycare. Walking tacos and other goodies will be available. You can ask questions and take tours.

Historical Society meeting

The next meeting of the Hot Springs County Historical Society will be a special event, a Chile Feed, on Saturday, January 11 at noon at the HSC Senior Center. Chile, condiments, drinks, and service will be provided. If you are able, please bring a dessert or cornbread. For the program, they will be showing the streaming video “Thermopolis, Small Town-Big Story” and have a special showing of the “Celebration of the 100 Years through Wind River Canyon.” This meeting is open to everyone who is interested in the history of Thermopolis, Hot Springs County and the State of Wyoming.
