1937-2024
Jeannette Irene Titmus passed away on December 10, 2024, at the age of 87. Jeannette was born on February 13, 1937, to Roy E. and Ethel I. Hunter in Glenrock, Wyo.. She married the love of her life, Glen R. Titmus, on July 15, 1957, in Casper, Wyo.
Glen's job with Amoco Pipeline took them to several Wyoming Communities where Jeannette became actively involved in local organizations and her sons' activities. Thermopolis became their lifelong home and Jeannette retired from the HSCSD as the Special Services Secretary. Once retired, she and Glen wintered in New Mexico until Glen's passing in 2012. Jeannette was very involved with the HSC Senior Center and other local organizations until her death.
Jeannette is survived by her sister, Deb Dickerson (Jim) of Rapid City, S.D.; brother, Ken Hunter (Carma) of Redding, Calif.; sons, Randy (Mary) Titmus of Cody, Wyo., and Terry (Cathy) Titmus of Thermopolis, Wyo.; grandchildren, Ellen Dye, Donny Monniere, Ryan Titmus, and Garrett Titmus; nieces and nephews; her Church Family; and Charity, Bradley and Jadyn Munn who became her family.
She is proceeded in death by her parents; husband, Glen; and numerous other family members.
We will all lovingly remember Jeannette by her personality that matched her hair color.
A celebration of life for Jeannette will take place with family at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to the Hot Springs County Senior Center. Mortimore Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
