TMS wrestlers host quad

Last Thursday, the Thermopolis Middle School wrestling team hosted a quad with Lander, Riverton and Worland. Thermopolis dualed Lander first posting a record of 21 wins and 11 loses. Their final dual was against Riverton, winning 16 out of 22 matches.

Coach Toby Emery said "The team has been wrestling extremely well this season, and they did not disappoint wrestling in front of their home crowd. The team continues to impress me week in and week out; I could not be more proud of their performance at home."

On Saturday, the team traveled to Greybull for an invitational tournament. "We crowned thirteen champs, four runner-ups, a third, and two placed fourth. This is a special group of wrestlers. They aren't afraid to mix it up on the mat and score points. They work hard in practice and it translates to the mat during competition." Said Emery. The team was back in Greybull on Tuesday for a mid-week triangular with Greybull and Worland and will be on the road to Lander on Saturday," added coach Emery.

The next home tournament is conference on December 7, beginning at 10 a.m. at the high school.
