TU hosts river clean up

Last Saturday, marked the first River Cleanup Project hosted by Thermopolis Trout Unlimited along the Wind River in the canyon. Despite the chilly temperatures and light snow at the start, 18 volunteers gathered at the Wedding of the Waters to begin their important work. The group broke up into teams to pick up the litter at the 12 pull-offs located between Wedding of the Waters and the tunnels. In just over two and a half hours the teams collected over 45 bags of trash, filling two truck beds with the debris.
