Veterans Day honors

The 1890s Riders and other volunteers put up the Memorial Avenue of Flags at Monument Hill Cemetery to honor those who have served in the military. At Hot Springs Health, Veterans Chuck Chrisien, former Air Force fireman; Tim Teson, former Army combat medic; Rod Slocum, who served in the Navy during the Vietnam war and Justin Budd, a member of the Army who served as foreign area officer, raised the American, POW-MIA and Wyoming State Flags in honor and recognition of Veterans Day. Veterans Mike Messenger on the trumpet, Tobi Johansen, Mike Berry, Jason Owens, Dustin Worley and Marshall Keller participated in a ceremony held at VFW Post No. 2281.
