Junior Cole Keller finished 7th, with a time of 19:01.90. Freshman Ammon Gevas finished in 9th place, with a time of 19:09.79. With their top ten finishes, Elder, Keller and Gevas each earned All-Conference honors for the 2024 season.

Commenting on the regional meet, coach Stephanie Metz stated, "Every runner improved remarkably over their times in the Bobcat Invite, and things look really good going into the state championships. The All-Conference honors for Jadeth, Cole and Ammon were well deserved and are very exciting for each of them - particularly for Ammon who is in just his first year of competition."
The Bobcats will depart Thermopolis on Friday and travel to Cheyenne for the 2A State Championships on Saturday. The championship meet will be held at the Little America Golf Course.
Last year, the Bobcats finished 3rd at state – behind Rocky Mountain and Wyoming Indian and look to improve their standing this year on the heels of the superb running they have displayed all season. Jadeth Elder finished in 3rd Place last year, and is poised to compete again this year for a State Championship.
