Community survey

Residents of Hot Springs County have a chance to fill out a community survey to help guide officials in prioritizing things important to citizens of HSC and Thermopolis as a community-wide strategic plan is created. The results will be shared with the public in a future edition of the Independent Record and online. The surveys were included in the October 3 issue of the IR. You can also pick up a copy at our office 431 Broadway, during normal business hours.

Additionally, you can get a copy of the survey at the Thermopolis-Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce, 220 Park St.; Thermopolis Town Hall, 420 Broadway; Hot Springs County Courthouse, 415 Arapahoe; Thermopolis Hardware, 158 Highway 20 South and Discover Thermopolis, 541 Broadway St.

The surveys can be returned to any of those same locations or mailed to Community Survey, Shurie Scheel, 527 Warren St., Thermopolis, WY 82443.

Those completing the survey who wish to provide their email address will be entered into a drawing to win $100 in Chamber Bucks. The drawing will be held on October 24 during Moonlight Madness. However, you can remain anonymous if you wish.

Filling out the community survey is one way you can be involved in helping form the strategic plan that will guide officials with future planning efforts.
