The Wyoming Children’s Trust Fund, in conjunction with Hot Springs County Public Health and The Department of Family Services are sponsoring a Community Baby Shower. Families with infants and expectant families are cordially invited to attend and receive a free gift basket with baby items (while supplies last). There will also be raffles from Ryte Rehabilitation, Farmers’ Insurance and the Department of Family Services.
The community baby shower is to provide support and resources to families with infants and expectant families. Several community agencies will be present to share information and resources which are available in Hot Springs County, some of which include: Public Health, Children’s Resource Center, Department of Family Services, Crisis Center and Response Center, Hot Springs County Prevention Coalition, Farmers’ Insurance, and the Hot Springs County Sheriff’s Office. The Sheriff’s Office will provide a Child Safety Seat Check station to support families in the correct placement of your child safety seat.
The Community Baby Shower is scheduled for Thursday, September 26 from 4-6 p.m. It will be located at the Hot Springs County Annex, 117 North 4th street in Thermopolis. This is the 4th year the community baby shower has occurred. The time of the event has changed to be available for working families.
