Michael Shawn McGee Senior

Michael Shawn McGee Senior, beloved son, husband, father, and grandfather passed away on September 10, 2024, at the age of 69.

Mike was a devoted husband to Julie McGee and a proud father to two sons, Michael and Ross. He was an obnoxious and delightful grandfather to seven cherished grandchildren, who brought him immense joy and laughter. He is also survived by his mother, Mary Lou McGee.

Mike lived life to the fullest, touching the hearts of those around him with his warm spirit and larger-than-life sense of humor. His family and friends will remember him for his love, kindness, and the unlimited trove of witty banter he unleashed on all that he met. He will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

A celebration of Mike's life will be held at 11 a.m. on October 19 at First Christian Church in Laramie, Wyo. Following the service, a reception with food, drinks, and a barrage of storytelling will take place next door at the VFW. All are welcome to come, share memories, laughter, and celebrate the incredible life of Mike McGee.
