Pharmacy name to change, services stay the same

Vicklund Pharmacy’s name is changing to Hot Springs Pharmacy. Vicklund Pharmacy was established in 1987 by Carol Vickund Bivens and current owner Tony Deromedi purchased the pharmacy in 2014 after he worked for Bivens from 2004 until 2014.

Deromedi said, “I decided it was time to freshen up the name and logo earlier this year to Hot Springs Pharmacy. I chose the name to represent the wonderful county we live in and the logo was chosen to represent Roundtop and the precious hot springs.”

Deromedi appreciates Bivens “for creating a true community pharmacy and for teaching me the dedication and compassion it takes to truly serve the Thermopolis community we all call home.”

Hot Springs Pharmacy offers prescription refills, multi-dose packaging, immunizations, medicare-D enrollment, curbside pickup, delivery and veterinary medicine at an affordable price.

Deromedi added, “We don’t see a lot of changes coming to the pharmacy except new signage and name. The same customer service and smiles will remain the same. We’re just really customer service oriented. We treat everybody unlike the bigger stores. Everybody’s our friends, our neighbors, people that we know. It’s the community.”

New signage and logo are coming soon with a new look. Their phone number is still the same. For your prescription needs or to ask questions call 864-2369.

Hot Springs Pharmacy is located at 610 South 6th Street, inside Mack’s Market. They are open Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday, 9 a.m. until noon. They are closed Sunday’s.
