Annual summer picnic

Hot Springs County Historical Society, HSC Pioneer Association and HSC Museum will hold their annual summer picnic on Saturday, Sept. 21 beginning at 12:30 at the Lower Terrace Shelter, near the boat dock, in Hot Springs State Park. Meat and drinks will be provided. Please bring a salad and/or dessert and your own table service. For more information, call 864-2678 or 921-1551.

Suicide Prevention Walk

Hot Springs County Prevention Coalition is sponsoring a Walk for Suicide Prevention on Sunday, Sept. 22 beginning at 5 p.m. from the Kiwanis Shelter in Hot Springs State Park. The walk is to raise awareness and support for suicide prevention and mental wellness. The free, family event will include food, music resources and connection.

School board candidate forum

A Hot Springs County School Board Candidate Form will be held Monday, Sept. 30 at 6:30 p.m. at the Hot Springs County Fair Building. Come and hear from the candidates! The event is non-partisan and open to the public. Sponsored by the Hot Springs County Republican Party.

VFW District One meeting

The District One VFW & Auxiliary meetings will be held in Worland, on Saturday, Sept. 21 at 9 a.m. at 7th & Coburn.. Lunch served after meeting for a donation. All members welcome.

Parent Information Center

Pony Espresso

Washakie Museum is hosting The Pony Expresso music and melodrama on Saturday, Sept. 21 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Sept. 22 at 2 p.m. This is a lively performance of seasonal tunes and a funny, punny old West melodrama. You can buy tickets online at washakiemuseum.org or by calling 307-347-4102.

Brucellosis meeting

Wyoming Livestock Board will be hosting a Brucellosis Informational Meeting on Tuesday, September 24 at 6 p.m. at the Park County Library in Cody in Grizzly Hall. Online attendance will also be available if you are not able to make it in person. Assistant State Veterinarian Dr. Teckla Webb will be attending the meeting to discuss herd plans, how to obtain and herd plan, and how to make changes to your current herd plan.
