Art in the Park

Myra Bennett, from Powell, was one of dozens of artists who participated in the Plein Air in Parks events held last week in Hot Springs State Park. Bennett selected the TeePee Fountain, built in 1909, for her artwork. The fountain was built to vent steam from the hot mineral water. As water flows over the structure, it cools and deposits layer upon layer of travertine.
