Michael Eugene McDaniel

Michael "Mike" McDaniel was born on October 31, 1955, to Charles Jerry McDaniel and Peggy Ruth McDaniel (Daniels) in Alpine, Utah. He passed away on August 21, 2024.

He spent four years in the Army in European Public Relations. He had a short marriage to an unknown woman. His second marriage to Val ended in tragedy when she died in a crash. He then picked up his life and moved to Wyoming and met Annie Mea Longtine. They were married on December 31, 2002. Five months after Annie's passing, Mike passed peacefully at Hot Springs Health.

He was preceded in death by both parents; brothers, TJ Kody McDaniel, Ronald Laphel McDaniel and Timothy Charles McDaniel; son, Michael Shane McDaniel; and daughter Kathy McDaniel.

His is survived by his sister, Shaunna Marie Bee (McDaniel); stepdaughters, Anna Lee Mares (Blanton), Lynnette Yvonne Witcher (Blanton) and Diana Gayle Collins (Blanton); six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations toward his cremation via Bustards Funeral Home in Casper, (307) 234-7123. No services are planned.
