Connie Ann Loos

1960-2024

Connie Ann Loos, 63, passed away August 23, 2024, at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper after a period of declining health.

One of seven children, she was born August 31, 1960, in Eureka, Nev., the daughter of James and Eva Lou (Holloway) Hoggatt. The family moved to Wyoming in 1975. Connie came to Thermopolis in 1987. 

On October 10, 2004 she married Karl Loos in Thermopolis.

Working throughout the retail industry for most of her life she worked as a waitress, in motels, Subway, IGA Grocery, to include a few. Her most recent was at Shorty's as a bartender. Connie was the mother of eight children. She enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening and her grandkids were her whole world!

Those cherishing her memory include her children, Bert Loos of Texas, Jesse Sovey of Thermopolis, Kory (Tiffani) Loos of Montana, Kyle Loos of Casper, Amber (Dallas) Kunz of New Mexico, Ashly (Jeremy) Pinkston of Thermopolis, and Tanya Tsukas of Wheatland; 20 grandchildren; 15 great-grandkids; 1 great, great-grandchild; and sisters, Carmel Taylor, Janet Shafer and Lois Hoggatt, all of Nevada. 

She was preceded in death by her parents;daughter, Kiri Hoggatt; Lexi Loos, Ronin Kunz, Pam Pearson, Albert Hoggatt, Orson Hoggatt, Donna Hansen and many others.

Shorty's has generously offered their patio for a Celebration of Connie's Life on August 31 at 1 p.m.
