Risen Son Christian School is starting their new daycare called the Eagle Nest, located in the Rise Son Christian church building. Eagle Nest's organizer Ciley Andreen said, "Eagle Nest daycare is a year-round program servicing children birth to 5 with both before and after school and is open to the community."
Andreen added, "We offer full-time spots that include meals, crafts, activities and play school for our 1- and 2-year-olds and a curriculum based 3-yearold preschool. We have limited part time slots and if the ratio allows, we will have drop in possibilities."
Eagle Nest hours will be 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. Andreen's contact number is 921-1880 or you can call Jon Locke the headmaster of the school at 307-240-1919 for more information.
Andreen also said, "We encourage families to stop by and take a tour to meet us. Also, tour the school."
When it came to why Andreen wanted to do this, she said, "Opening a center has been a long-time dream of mine. My calling in life has been caring for others, for children. Loving unconditionally and seeing that the simple things matter through the eyes of a child."
Andreen added, "Jon Locke had contacted me about the idea of a daycare last school year and we just couldn't make all the pieces come together. We both, along with the school board, prayed over this daycare and God has opened doors for us. Our community has some daycare providers that do an amazing job, but there are so few of them and they can only service a small amount of children in their homes. We needed a place that could service more kids and reach more people. The board and headmaster Jon saw that need and listened to my visions and together the Eagle Nest has sprung to life and will be opening Sept 3."
