7 Lazy S to be featured on America's Best Restaurants

7 Lazy S Cafe & Bar will be hosting a visit from America’s Best Restaurants (ABR) on Tuesday, August 27 from 2-5 p.m. 

America’s Best Restaurants will bring its ABR Roadshow to the restaurant to feature popular dishes, along with an extensive on-camera interview with owners Kim and Charlie Smith about the restaurant’s special place in the community. The episode will be aired extensively on social media channels at a later date.

Open since late 2021, 7 Lazy S Cafe is a traditional American cafe that Kim used to waitress at part-time before leaving the medical field to take over ownership. The Smiths hired Katyana Springer to run the kitchen, added a bar and started staying open later in the evening. “With her experience back of house, and mine front of house we put together a really great place,” Kim explains. “[We] developed a pretty simple but good dinner menu that has [gone] over well.”

The menu is a solid array of sandwiches, burgers, salads, appetizers, entrees and pasta dishes.

“We want people to come in and relax [and] have a home cooked meal,” Kim notes.
