Wyoming Election Code Title 22, Chapter 4 contains state statute regarding State of Wyoming Political Parties. County central committees consist of voters (committeemen and committeewomen) from each precinct in a county elected at even numbered year Primary elections; committeemen/women hold office for two years. Precinct committeemen/women must be residents in the voting precinct they wish to serve.

Precinct committeemen/women perform duties in support of the party such as distributing voter information. County central committees are empowered to determine party policy, make rules, and perform functions necessary to further the interest of the party such as, promoting party views, and building relationships between public officials and voters. In Wyoming, every county precinct is entitled to at least one committeeman/woman. Election Code Title 22 sets out the formula for determining the number of committeemen/women elected every two years.
