The Hot Springs Health Foundation recently completed a major project which involved repurposing the medical offices building located at 203 Arapahoe St into two, two-bedroom furnished apartments. The apartments were designed to house temporary contract workers affiliated with the clinic and hospital, including medical students and residents on rotation as a part of the Thermopolis Rural Training Track. HSH Foundation Director Laura Budd, third from left, discusses the completed employee apartments during an open house on July 11. The remodel of the building began in February 2024, and was recently completed. The open house gave hospital and clinic employees an opportunity to tour the remodeled building which previously housed the hospital sleep lab and medical offices. The new rental units will provide operational income for the foundation through their partnership with Hot Springs Health. On Target Renovations, LLC, owned by Gene and Suzzy Pruett, was the contractor selected through a bid process.
