Commissioners issue Request of Proposals for feasibility study of former airport property

The Hot Springs County Board of Commissioners is releasing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a feasibility assessment of the former airport property to determine potential development of the site located at: Hot Springs County Former Airport Property, 140 Airport Rd., Thermopolis.

Sealed packets will be received from qualified consultant(s) that demonstrate the ability to reach the County’s desired outcomes for the project, which includes, but is not limited to the following: Determining the best use of the site for economic growth and opportunities; Determining the necessary infrastructure improvements for the best use; Developing a marketing plan; Developing a conceptual layout and costs and Determining funding sources to complete the site development.

The Respondent Guarantees and Warranties Form must be enclosed with the proposal to be considered, and must be signed by the authorized representative of the firm. Proposals will not be accepted by Fax. Proposals must be received in the office of the Hot Springs County Clerk on or before the time and date specified. Proposals received after the time specified will not be considered.

All supporting documentation and manuals submitted with this RFP will become property of Hot Springs County. All Information provided will be made available to all members of the RFP review committee and others as needed. Use of proprietary information is discouraged.

Any questions regarding the RFP shall be submitted by August 1, 2024, at which time an Addendum will be released to all known vendors and can be found on the Hot Springs County Website (https://hscounty.com/).

•Executive Summary

•Full Description of Organization (including identification of all parties having a beneficial interest in the proposal)

•Scope of Services

•Brief History of Company/Experience/ Resumes of Key Team Members/ Project Examples

•Cost Proposal and Description

•Implantation Plan/Timeline

•Three (3) Letters of Reference

•Insurance Certificate

•Acknowledgment of Addendum released, if applicable
