Hot Spot Car Rally winners announced

The 2024 Thermopolis Hot Spot Car Rally filled Hot Springs State Park with nearly 100 impressive entries from near and far.

The event was held last Saturday and also featured a Poker Run and Cruise In the previous evening. Attendees packed the park to view the vehicles and visit with their owners.

At the end of the day, winners were announced in several categories including the following: 

Off Road: Ted Hubele, 1968 Ford Bronco.

Motorcycle: Jake Brown 1972 Custom Mini Bike.

Tractor: Christopher Delay, 1940 Allis-Chalmers B.

Street Rod: Jeff and Berna Winton, 1929 Ford A-Pickup.

Truck: Steve Haberland, 1946 Dodge COE WFM-37.

Off Balls: Tim Bullington, 1935 Dodge Rat Rod.

Muscle Car: Mike Denison, 1970 Pontiac GTO.

Vintage: Barry Nelson, 1939 Chevy Stakebed.

Chevy: Autumn Hnilicka, 1957 Chevy BelAir.

Ford: Jim Brown, 1958 Ford Custom 300.

Mopar: Stephanie Owns, 1966 Plymouth Valiant.

People's Choice: Ted Hubele, 1968 Ford Bronco.

Driver Jacket: Tim Schmelzle.
