Anchor Dam

A spectacular easterly view of Anchor Dam in the western part of Hot Springs County shows water levels currently low. Spring run off is just beginning for the south fork of Owl Creek. Traditionally the snow run off of the south and middle fork of Owl Creek is a couple of weeks behind the snow melt of the north fork. Hopefully with the rain and late snowfall this Spring the dam will fill and provide much needed irrigation water for those downstream.
