Rodeo team members bring home buckles

Thermopolis Rodeo Club members have been busy hitting the road the past two weekends. They were up in Rock Springs on April 20-21 and Big Piney on April 27-28.

Rock Springs resutls:

On Saturday, Rylee Agar earned 16th and a time of 16.451 in barrel racing and had a 7th place finish in pole bending with a time of 21.576.

Mesa Longwell had a time of 16.76 in barrel racing.

Kamryn Farrell had a time of 16.789 in barrel racing and a time of 8.94 in goat tying earning her 8th place,

In light rifle, Bridger Peil earned 8th place with a score of 215 and Jay Ritchey was 10th with a score of 207.

On Sunday, Rylee Agar earned 6th in barrel racing with a time of 15.884.

Taylor Agar was 15th in barrel racing with a time of 16.243 and she had a time of 27.703 in pole bending.

Kamryn Farrell earned 4th in the goat tying with a time of 7.8 and she had a time of 21.916 in barrel racing.

Mesa Longwell had a time of 17.494 in barrel racing.

Porter McCumber was 3rd in saddle bronc with a score of 49.

The team of Bridger Peil and Jhett Longwell came in 7th in the team roping with a time of 14.560.

Peil earned 12th in tie down calf roping with a time of 20.980.

In junior high competition, on Friday, April 19 Hoyt Peil had a time of 21.130 in goat tying and a score of 94 in light rifle. On Saturday, he was 3rd in breakaway roping with a time of 4.970 and 10th in goat tying with 19.930.

In Big Piney on April 26-28, Hoyt Peil won the junior high breakaway average buckle and Bridger Peil and Jhett Longwell won the high school team roping average buckle.

Individual results from Big Piney:

On Saturday, Taylor Agar had a time of 17.324 in barrel racing earning 14th and was 15th place in barrel racing with a time of 22.712.

Rylee Agar had a time of 17.541 in barrel racing and earned an 11th place pole bending with a time of 22.297.

Kamryn Farrell had a time of 17.713 in barrel racing, earned 11th place in breakaway roping with a time of 4.39 and had a time of 8.010 in goat tying coming in 5th place.

Mesa Longwell had a time of 18.753 in barrel racing

Bridger Peil scored 251 in light rifle earning 5th place.

Bridger Peil and Jhett Longwell were 2nd place in team roping with a time of 7.070.

On Sunday, Kamryn Farrell was 13th in barrel racing with a time of 17.122, 6th in breakaway roping with a time of 4.10 and 5th in goat tying with 8.070.

Mesa Longwell had a time of 18.425 in barrel racing

Rylee Agar had a time of 22.086 in barrel racing and a time of 26.924 in pole bending.

Taylor Agar had a time of 22.536 in barrel racing and 8th in pole bending with a time of 21.975.

Bridger Peil and Jhett Longwell were 1st in team roping with a time of 7.170. They are currently 3rd in the season standings.

Other locals in the top ten for season standings include Porter McCumber in 2nd in the standings for boys cutting and 6th in the standings for saddle bronc, Kamryn Farrell is 8th in goat tying and Bridger Peil is 10th in tie down calf roping.

In the all around competition, Bridger Peil currently holds the number 6 spot and Jhett Longwell the 15th spot for the boys and Kamryn Farrell holds the 22nd spot for the girls.
