Bobcats compete at Wyoming Track Classic

Four Hot Springs County High School athletes qualified to compete this year in the prestigious Wyoming Track Classic held in Casper on Friday, April 26, 2024. The event is a “best of the best” style meet, which pits top contenders from around the state of Wyoming.

Those athletes in attendance, are invited to compete in the event, based upon top times and top marks, set in track meets, which have been held up to this point in the 2024 season. Earning an invite to the Classic, is both an honor, and a recognition of the outstanding competitive results achieved by the young athletes who compete each week to represent their communities.

Representing the Bobcats, long-distance runner, Jadeth Elder, finished eighth in the 3200 meter run, with a time of 10:23.43.

Teammate and sprinter, Seth Needham, finished fifth in the 400 meter dash, with a time of 50.50.

Representing the Lady Cats, multi-sport athlete, Davdine King, finished fifth (tie) in high jump, with a jump of 4-11.

Teammate, sister, and also multi-sport athlete, Ina King, finished fifth in triple jump, with a jump of 34-10.50.
