UW offers outdoor space class

The University of Wyoming Extension office will offer two free Design Your Outdoor Space classes with expert Jenny Thompson, the Small Acreage Outreach Coordinator for the University of Wyoming Extension. The 90-minute classes will be held on Friday, May 16, at the Washakie County Library conference room in Worland from 5:30-7 p.m.

Through before-and-after photos, students will learn how to create functional and balanced landscape designs based on their current lifestyle needs for their property. Ms. Thompson will discuss soils, light, plant selection and placement, materials, and site analysis, among other topics. Students will also have the opportunity to draft ideas for their properties and to receive feedback.
