Crisis Prevention and Response Center of Worland now providing program services

The Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault program, Safe Haven of Hot Springs County, will no longer be providing services in Hot Springs County, according to a press release issued by agency officials. Through regionalization of the Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault programs, Safe Haven will be transitioned to the Crisis Prevention and Response Center of Worland (CPRC), effective April 1, 2024. 

The press release states, all services will remain available to the Hot Springs County community as the Crisis Prevention and Response Center of Worland is dedicated to offering quality services to victims of crime in Hot Springs County as demonstrated in their 40 years of effective care to the Washakie County community. CPRC will provide 24/7 access to resources and support services for victims of sexual assault, domestic violence, stalking, child abuse, elder abuse, and human trafficking.

CPRC will have a local office in Thermopolis. To contact the newly acquired program, CRPC, call 307-347-4991. 

Additionally, the press release explains, the Division of Victim Services is supportive of the Crisis Prevention and Response Center’s staff and Board of Directors as they commence with service provision in the Hot Springs County community. The Division and the Board are mutually committed to ensuring that victims in Hot Springs County are able to receive appropriate and needed services within their community.
