Thermopolis Wrestling Club results

Members of the Thermopolis Wrestling Club were presented the Don Voorhees Sportsmanship Award at the Brandon Delzer Memorial Wrestling Tournament in Sturgis, S.D. on January 7. Don was an avid wrestling fan who encouraged sportsmanship. To Don, it wasn’t about which wrestler won. Win, lose, or draw you hold your head high and be proud you stepped on the mat and gave it your all.

Club wrestlers traveled to Glenrock last Saturday to compete in the King of the Rock Tournament.

8U 39-43 - Erik Polson, 2nd, 12 points.

10U 52-56 - Gabriel Ryan, 1st, 19.5 points.

12U 62-63 - Aksel Polson, 2nd, 12 points.

12U 74-77 - Cheston Kimes 3rd, 9 points.

12U 122-139 - Kade Enis, 1st, 7 points.

14U 72-80 - Hailey Robinson, 3rd, 7 points.

14U 90-107 - Clint Kimes, 4th, 1 point.

10U Girls 47-59 - Roxy White, 1st, 9 points.

10U Girls 62-64 - Roxy White, 1st, 20 points.

12U Girls 68-75 - Hayden Robinson, 2nd, 13.5 points.

14U Girls 74-74 - Hailey Robinson, 1st, 2 points.

Last Friday, the Thermopolis Middle School wrestling team traveled to Glenrock for the Herder Middle School Team Dual Tournament bringing home a second place finish in Pool A.
