Last Saturday, attendees of the Beard and Mustache Contest Fundraiser were treated to dinner prepared by We Got Your 6 Portions.
Smoking Waters Barber Shop and Salon organized the event and gave out prizes in six categories. Nine contestants competed in the contest.
Dan Burton was the winner of the longest beard category with Larry Price receiving an honorable mention.
Burton also won the longest mustache contest.
The winner of the biggest/bushiest beard was Frank Davis.
Gerry Bartlett won best overall coiffed beard/mustache with Dusty Mills receiving an honorable mention.
Shawn Smith won the craziest beard or mustache category.
A lively crowd voted for the People's Choice award with Seth White named as the winner.
Judges were Kristen Monasmith, Julie Robertson and Raymond Monasmith.
Proceeds go toward the VFW scholarship fund for Hot Springs County High School graduates going to college or trade schools.
A percentage of the donations were gifted to Wyoming Discovery Days.
Several local businesses donated to the event.
