Theater Department is thrilled to announce the upcoming production of The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon , a comedic theatrical experience that promises to leave audiences laughing with its bizarre humor and modern take on all things fairy-tale. This production is set to take the stage at the Hot Springs County School Auditorium.

The 2023 fall production Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon will open on Tuesday, November, 14.

This zany one act features a twisted and satirical take on the beloved stories from your childhood. Follow narrators one and two as they guide you through the stories you know and love, featuring timeless characters, such as Girl Without Hands, Pliny Plie and Dirt Merchant.

This year’s creative team has worked to create an intricate set that shows off the small details that make a play come together. The set and sound design have been well crafted by varsity members of the high school drama team.

Performances start at 7 p.m. on November 14, 16 and 17 at the school auditorium, 415 Springview St. Playbills will be provided that feature interviews with the stars of the play and the highlights of our show.

The Thermopolis Theatre Department has been helping high schoolers discover their passion for theater since. Many of the students who have worked in both technical theater and acting have gone to college to work in theater. Many of this year’s students will be participating in State Drama in Casper at the varsity level this winter. This play will be performed for State Drama level in 3A-4A, a category in which the drama troupe has won a handful of times before and something they hope to win again this year.
