Moonlight Madness hits downtown October 26

Moonlight Madness is returning to the streets of downtown Thermopolis on Thursday, October 26. There are a variety of activities that you and your family can participate in.

The Mason’s tacos will be available from from 4:30-7 p.m. at the Masonic Hall, 521 Arapahoe St. The Costume Contest, sponsored by Wyoming Children’s Trust Fund, will begin at 6 p.m. in the 400 Block of Broadway, in front of Town Hall. Categories are: group, under 1, 1-2 years, 3-4 years, 5-6 years, 7-8 years, 9 years and above. This is also the order of judging.

A Pinata Bash will follow the Costume Contest on Broadway. It is hosted by the Thermopolis Independent Record.

Additionally, a photo booth by Shailee Harvey Photography will be located at the Old Fire Hall, also in the 400 Block of Broadway.

There will be a Costume Scavenger Hunt, hosted by Central Bank & Trust. Turn in your completed Scavenger Hunt to win prizes. Look for the table at the Costume Contest to pick up information for the hunt.

Several downtown businesses will be open late and offering up treats for children who want to Trick or Treat. Many of them will also be serving up warm beverages and other tasty treats so make the rounds and enjoy this community event.
