Gooseberry Badlands Trail

Construction is underway at the Gooseberry Badlands Scenic Overlook Trail northwest west of Thermopolis. The trail remains open, but be mindful of equipment and frequently changing signage to guide you in and out safely. The crew is currently working on the parking area, the upper ADA portion of the trail and the access road, with construction on the lower trail scheduled for mid-September. Keep an eye out for possible temporary closures at that time.
