Concert featuring Bitter and Kay Saturday

The SonRise Family of Companies, encompassing SonRise Ranch, INC. SonRise Operations, LLC, SonRise Grass Creek Guest Ranch, LLC and the SonRise Supper Club, has announced they are hosting an evening of music, community and philanthropy at Hot Springs State Park on Saturday, September 2 beginning at 5 p.m. The event will feature renowned artists Kimmi Bitter and Eric Kay, with 100% of the proceeds going to Carbon Vault, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

Carbon Vault is dedicated to teaching disabled, combat veterans essential farming and ranching skills at their facility in Grass Creek with the first class arriving in the early Spring of 2024. With help from the National Institute of Food and Agriculture and the Department of Veterans Affairs, this initiative not only aids in the reintegration of veterans into civilian life but also fosters regenerative agricultural practices. “We are excited to bring the community together for a cause that is near and dear to us,” said Douglas Lindamood, owner of the SonRise Family of Companies. He added, “We believe this will make a huge difference in the lives of our Ag Community and Vets.”

Attendees can look forward to a line-up of soulful tunes by Kimmi Bitter and Eric Kay, whose music spans multiple genres. Drinks and light snacks will be provided by SonRise Supper Club, ensuring an evening filled with nourishment for the body and soul. “Music has the power to heal and connect us all. We’re honored to perform for a cause that supports both veterans and sustainable farming,” said Kimmi Bitter. Tax deductible donations will be accepted.

There will be 100 chairs available, and guests are also welcome to bring their own chairs.
