Demolition Derby hits town Saturday

Get revved up for the Thermopolis Demolition Derby on Saturday, August 12 at the Hot Springs County Fairgrounds with the action starting at 6 p.m. Gates open at 4 p.m.

Limited Weld Grand prize is $3,000 with the second place winner taking home $1,500 and third place brings in $800 plus trophies for the top three winners and the M.A.D. Dog trophy.

For the truck derby, first place garners the winner $1,500, second $750 and third $500.

In the Chain Class derby, first place earns $1,000 and second place $500.

There is also a Power Wheels Derby for the little ones ages 4-10.

Advance tickets are $15 for adults, and kids ages 5 and under Free. If you purchase at the gate, adults will be $20.
