Bareback rider Roedy Farrell earned a score of 77 points and 4th place in the short go at the National High School Rodeo Finals in Gillette. He placed in the top ten in the average with 212 points, which tied him with two other riders for 8th place.
Farrell qualified in the bareback riding for the National Finals by earning second in the State Finals held in June.
Farrell is now traveling around the country competing at PRCA rodeos and getting ready to start college at Tarleton State University in Stephensville, Texas. He recently was 2nd in bareback riding at the Thermopolis PRCA rodeo with a score of 78.
Farrell is a 2023 graduate of Hot Springs County High School.
