She made many memories for her children and grandchildren with homemade chocolate chip cookies and other family favorites. To this day, many of her recipes are used by her family on a regular basis.
Helen was a member of P.E.O., Chapter K.
She had an innate sense of style as evidenced by her wardrobe and home decor. She collected art and was instrumental in obtaining original paintings from her maternal uncle who was an artist in Serbia. She maintained an interest in current events and politics until she died.
Survivor include daughters, Nena James of Rock Springs, Wyo., and Lynn Roncco of Indianapolis, Ind.; and her sister, Violet Pavkovich, who also lives at Deer Trail Assisted Living.
