Farrell competing at NHSFR in Gillette

Hot Springs County High School 2023 graduate Roedy Farrell earned a score of 65 points with his first bareback ride at the National High School Finals Rodeo in Gillette. On Monday, he tied for 11th place in the first go around. He is set to ride in the second go on Friday evening.

Farrell qualified in the bareback riding for the National Finals by earning second in the State Finals held in June.

Tuker Carricato of Saratoga, who won first in the bareback riding at the state finals, came in 2nd in the first go with score of 80 points.
