Hot Springs County is accepting sealed Requests for Information (RFI) from vendors to solicit information and concession possibilities that meet or exceed industry standards for improvement of the former county airport property, located at 140 Airport Road.
Sealed packets will be received for construction changes and all other possibilities at the site. Possible business opportunities may be: hotel, convention center, outdoor recreation businesses and economic development ideas to be in line with the mission of Hot Springs County, and provide economic growth within the Town of Thermopolis, Hot Springs County and the State.
Any questions regarding the RFI shall be submitted by July 14, at which time a question and answer will be released to all known vendors and on the County Website.
Sealed packets must be received by 2 p.m. MDT, August 28, 2023 at which time they will be publicly opened or they will be opened at the next board of commissioners meeting. Send RFIs to: Hot Springs County Clerk, Becky Kersten, 415 Arapahoe St. Thermopolis, WY 82443.
