Arapaho Ranch presentation Saturday at county museum

A presentation about the new things happening at the Arapaho Ranch Field State will be held on Saturday, May 13 at 2 p.m. at the Hot Springs County Museum.

Lorre Hoffman, with the Arapaho Ranch Field Station Foundation, will be doing the presentation.

The Field Station is a foundation that functions within the footprint of the Arapaho Ranch. The Field Station and the cattle operation of the Ranch are independent operations within the same footprint of the the Arapaho Ranch, with the same board of directors.

The mission of the Arapaho Ranch Field Station is to facilitate place-based hands-on education through transformative experiences.

They are raising funds to restore, renovate and repurpose buildings at the ranch headquarters and the other eight ranches with the Arapaho Ranch. There are workshops and events planned for the summer. Visit arapahoranch.org for more information.
