Bobcats to host home invite Friday

Bobcat Track and Field team members traveled to Buffalo to compete at the Not-A-Twilight tournament last Friday.

The Lady Cats came in 8th, the Bobcats came in 7th and combined they came in 7th.

“Our kids went out and competed and posted consistent times and marks. At this point in the season, I feel good about how our athletes have progressed and where we are at going into our post season meets,” said coach Calder Forcella.

Lady Bobcat Ina King was invited to jump at the Wyoming Track Classic in Casper Friday which is an all-star meet. They invite the top nine athletes with the best marks  in the state of all four classes.

“Ina came in seeded 9th and finished on the podium with a third place medal. She had a great sequence of jumps with a new PR that leaves her only five inches off the school record. Ina has put a ton of time into her training in both the offseason and season, and she is one that track fans will want to follow down the last stretch of meets this year,” said coach Forcella.
