The Hot Springs County High School Drama Team still has two performances of “Little Women” on Thursday, May 4 and Friday, May 5 at the William Malloy Auditorium. All shows are at 7 p.m. Admission is free, all donations are kindly accepted.
Little Women is based on Louisa May Alcott’s life and follows the adventures of sisters, Jo, Meg, Beth, and Amy March. Jo is trying to sell her stories for publication, but the publishers are not interested—her friend, Professor Bhaer, tells her that she has to do better and write more from herself.
Director Eric Kay said, “The kids have been working very hard.” The school invites the public to come and enjoy the show. Amie Wiley is the Director’s Assistant.
The play is also highlighted by an orchestra pit conducted by Aidan Freeman and featuring Music Director Jackson Chitwood.
