Members of the Thermopolis Rodeo Club competed in Laramie last weekend with some strong finishes from our locals.
Roedy Farrell came in first on Saturday in the bareback riding with a score of 78 earning 9.5 points. On Sunday, he came in second with a score of 64, earning 9 points.
Taylor Agar was 15th in barrel racing on Saturday with a time of 16.454 and 10th in pole bending with a time of 23.34, earning 1 point. On Sunday, she was 19th in barrel racing with a time of 16.036 and had a time of 33.551 in pole bending.
Rylee Agar was 13th in barrel racing on Saturday with a tine of 16.393 and on Sunday she was 4th with a time of 15.452, earning 7 points.
Bridger Peil had a time of 29.00 in the tie down calf roping on Saturday and came in 8th on Sunday with a time of 14.03, scoring 3 points.
Kamryn Farrell was 7th in goat tying on Sunday with a time of 9.97, earning 4 points.
Maile McCumber had a time of 25.05 in the pole bending on Sunday.
On Sunday, the team of McCoy and Jhett Longwell came in 11th place in team roping with a time of 16.850. Jhett was 14th in tie down calf roping with a time of 17.97.
The next high school rodeo is set for Rock Springs this weekend.
