Dorothy Marie Hamilton

Dorothy Marie Hamilton, 88, passed away February 13, 2023, at Morningstar Assisted Living in Glendale, Ariz.

Dorothy was born April 18, 1934, in Thermopolis, Wyo., the daughter of Gus and Marie Enis. She married Harry Andreen in 1952 and they raised their family in Thermopolis.

Dorothy lived a long and full life. Her first 60 years in Thermopolis, 5 years in Jackson, Wyo., and the rest of her days in Arizona. She loved her family immensely. She had a great sense of humor and a warm heart. She was a devout Lutheran all her life. Her favorite pastime was quilting. Over the years she made numerous quilts for her children, grandchildren and friends. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her children, Sheryl DeKorte of Wilsonville, Ore., Marc Andreen of Douglas, Wyo., Carl Andreen of Parker, Colo., and Bonnie Elgas of Glendale, Ariz.; grandchildren, Thea Cutsforth, Tyler Christler, Justin, Bee, Brandon and Chandler Andreen, Ryan and Connor Elgas and Chelsey Lindell; great-grandchildren, Isla and Esme Cutsforth, Dominic and Coral Christler, Kinley and Jasmine Andreen, Channing, Ian and Harry Andreen, Jackson and Aleena Phillips, Jax and Ella Elgas and Grayson Lindell.

In addition to her parents, Gus and Marie Enis, she was predeceased by her husband, Harry; second husband, Farrell Hill; third husband, Fred Hamilton; sisters, Betty Schaeffer and Punky Kohles; and brothers, Jim and Bill Enis.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
