Milo Warnick passed away on November 14, 2022, at his home in Thermopolis, Wyo., surrounded by his family.
Milo was born June 25, 1955, in Livingston, Mont., to Rodney "Roy" Warnick and Violet S. Warnick (Strickland). He was the youngest of children.
Milo was a very hard worker and had mastered many trades. He was an excellent carpenter, handyman, yard man, and tree cutter. He spent 20 years working for the BNSF railroad throughout Montana and Wyoming. He spent his spare time fixing whatever needed to be fixed around his home and friends and family's homes. He had a natural wit about him to throw in humor whenever he had the opportunity. He and his grandson enjoyed watching Gunsmoke reruns and Return to Lonesome Dove.
Milo is survived by his daughter, Cassie (Thomas) Snooks of Sheridan; sister's in-law, Colleen (Jay) Blakesley and Patty Dean of Thermopolis; brother-in-law, Robert Morton of Thermopolis; brother, Victor (Frances) Warnick of Emigrant, Mont.; numerous other siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins; and his beloved grandson, Gavyn of Sheridan.
Milo is preceded in death by his parents, Rodney and Violet Warnick; wife, Mickie Morton; brother-in-law, Pat Dean; mother-in-law, Lucille Morton; and numerous beloved cats and dogs.
Cremation has taken place and a small family gathering will be planned for the summer of 2023.
