Mickie C. Morton

Mickie C. Morton passed away on December 26, 2020, at Wyoming Medical Center after a short illness with family by her side and in her heart.

Mickie was born September 14, 1953 in Ogden, Utah, to Robert Henry Morton Jr. and Lucille Marguarette Morton (Orrell). Mickie is one of four children.

She worked for NWBOCES for 30 years as a cottage aid and house supervisor for children. She then went to work for 13 years for Big Horn Enterprises (BHE). After many well served years of caring for others, Mickie retired in September 2019. Mickie loved to help people and spent her life being a great wife, mom, aunt, Gigi, daughter, caretaker, friend, companion, and confidant.

At the time of Mickie's passing, she was survived by her husband, Milo Warnick of Thermopolis; daughter, Cassie (Thomas) Snooks of Sheridan; sisters, Patty Dean and Colleen (Jay) Blakesley of Thermopolis; brother, Robert Morton of Thermopolis; nephews, Brian (Nicole) Blakesley of Thermopolis and Mike (Jackie) Dean of Butte; niece, Amanda (Alex) Allen of Casper; great nephew, William of Thermopolis; and great nieces, Shianne and Alexis of Casper. Mickie/Gigi had one grandson, Gavyn of Sheridan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Lucille Morton; brother-in-law, Pat Dean; mother in-law, Violet Warnick; adopted mom, DiAnn Butler; along with many other beloved cats, dogs, friends, and family.

Cremation has taken place and no services were held per her wishes.
